(Brooklyn Center, MN) — The former Minnesota police officer accused of killing Daunte Wright is considering several defense options. Kimberly Potter’s lawyers filed a notice of defense this week with four different scenarios. The defenses are Innocent Accident, Innocent Mistake, her perceived use of a Taser was reasonable, and lack of causation. Potter, a former Brooklyn Center officer who is charged with first-degree and second-degree manslaughter, will be tried on November 30th.
