(Minneapolis, MN) — Former Minneapolis police officer Mohamed Noor is asking to be resentenced. The Minnesota Supreme Court says Noor will go before Judge Kathryn Quaintance to be resentenced to 41-months in prison on the second-degree manslaughter conviction in the death of Justine Ruszczyk. According to court documents, the former officer was first sentenced to 12 years in prison after being convicted by a jury. Noor is set for resentencing on October 21st.
