(Minneapolis, MN) — The resentencing for former Minneapolis police officer Mohamed Noor is now set. Minnesota Supreme Court officials announced that the resentencing for Noor is scheduled for October 21st, just one day after his 36th birthday. According to reports, the former officer was convicted in 2019 for the fatal shooting of Justine Damond. Noor is serving a 12-and-a-half-year sentence for the killing and has since served about 29 months.
