The Minnesota Board of Health has authorized a vaccine to combat a highly contagious, deadly rabbit disease. Recently, at least two cases of Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus 2 were found in Ramsey County. On Friday, health officials said the vaccine from South Dakota-based Medgene Labs can be ordered and administered by veterinarians. The two-dose series will be used to protect both domestic and wild rabbits.
