(Mounds View, MN) — An investigation’s underway after a domestic assault suspect is hit and killed by a Ramsey County sheriff’s deputy’s SUV in Mounds View. The sheriff’s office says deputies were called to a hotel Wednesday morning to investigate a domestic assault involving a shooting. The sheriff’s office says the deputies located the suspect nearby. The sheriff’s office says the suspect shot a gun at the deputies, leading one of them to hit and kill him with their squad car. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is investigating the case.
