Eight counties in Minnesota still remain below 50-percent coronavirus vaccinated for those ages 12 and up. They include Clearwater, Todd, Pine, Wadena, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, Morrison and Meeker. A majority of the counties with more than half of their residents without even a single dose lay along a stretch of east-central Minnesota. CDC data shows most of the hospitalizations and deaths from COVID-19 involve the unvaccinated.
