(Twin Cities, MN) — A shortage of bus drivers is leading to the cancelation of hundreds of bus routes across the Twin Cities. Metro Transit says nearly 200 were canceled over the weekend because of the driver shortage. Metro Transit is offering new bus drivers 21 dollars an hour in an effort to fix the shortage. Metro Transit says over 100 drivers are needed right now.
