(St. Paul, MN) — Police in St. Paul say there were about seven suspected overdoses in the city from Friday to Saturday. The 24-hour span, which included two fatalities, has been linked to possible synthetic opioids being mixed into narcotics. The incidents brought overdose deaths to 89 so far this year in St. Paul. Police say these deadly opioids are lethal in small doses, and the best thing to do in the event of an overdose is to call 911 immediately.
