(Minneapolis, MN) — A new poll shows nearly half of Minneapolis residents support changing the city’s police department to a department of public safety. The Star Tribune, Minnesota Public Radio, KARE-11 poll shows 49 percent of people said they support the change. Forty-one percent said they don’t support it and ten percent are undecided.
