The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is ordering Enbridge to pay three-point-32-million dollars over Line 3 environmental violations.  Yesterday, the agency announced that the energy company dug a trench too deep for their pipeline in the northwest part of the state, resulting in uncontrolled groundwater flowing out.  It was also reported that Enbridge did not notify authorities of the incident.  Besides the fine, the company must also develop a plan to stop groundwater flow in 30 days.
