(St. Paul, MN) — State employment and economic development officials say Minnesota’s exports have jumped by 29 percent in the second quarter to a total of six-billion dollars. The figure is an increase of one-an-a-third-billion dollars over the second quarter of last year. Also, the figure represents a five percent increase over the same period in 2019, before the pandemic hit. Nationally, U.S. exports soared by 51 percent between the second quarter this year and the second quarter last year.
