Drivers headed south on I-35 after the holiday weekend may encounter some slow downs as a month-long striping project gets underway.
Overnight delays for striping work in parts of the Southern I-35 corridor will begin tomorrow evening. Crews will be working on the roadway between 7pm and 5 am each night through mid-October. The work zone runs for about 14 miles from the County Road Two Elko/New Market exit to the Rice County Road 8 exit north of Faribault. MN-Dot says drivers may see lane shifts in the area and reduced posted speed limits.
