(Big Stone County, MN) — Only one out of 87 counties in Minnesota is not considered a COVID-19 hotspot. CDC data shows Big Stone County does not have substantial or high transmission of the coronavirus. The state has gone from 14 to 86 county hotspots within a month. No county falls into the “low” spread category. The CDC recommends indoor masking in public in all areas with substantial or high COVID-19 transmission.
