(St. Paul, MN)  —  A trade union representing thousands of public school teachers will not be attending this year’s Minnesota State Fair.  Over the weekend, Education Minnesota said it will be sitting out this year’s event due to concern over health and safety measures.  The group added it would not ask volunteers to work shifts in unsafe conditions as the State Fair largely only recommends COVID-19 precautions.  Education Minnesota plans to offer an at-home version of their fair photo calendar.  They become another of the nearly 150 vendors who have pulled out of the fair this year due to a variety of issues.
