(Isabella, MN)  —  A wildfire burning in northern Minnesota has quickly expanded to over one-thousand acres within a day.  The Greenwood Fire, located near Isabella, was detected Sunday afternoon as a fast-moving blaze.  Fire crews are continuing to battle the flames, though southerly winds will continue to push the fire forward.  The U.S. Forest Service has evacuated nearby campgrounds and recreational spots, and the fire has now prompted closures on Highways 1 and 2.
