(Minneapolis, MN)  —  A former GOP campaign strategist from Minneapolis has been indicted by a federal judge.  The U.S. Attorney’s Office of the District of Minnesota says Anton Lazzaro conspired with others to solicit “commercial sex acts” from six underage victims.  Lazzaro, who was arrested and charged yesterday, worked for failed GOP candidate Lacy Johnson in her 2020 attempt to unseat Democratic Rep. Illhan Omar.  He will remain in custody until a detention hearing next week on charges of conspiracy and sex trafficking among others.
