(St. Paul, MN) — A gun rights group is suing to allow people to carry guns at the Minnesota State Fair. Yesterday, the Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus, along with two regular fairgoers, filed a lawsuit against Ramsey County, Sheriff Bob Fletcher, and the State Agricultural Society. In it, they seek an injunction against the fair’s ban on weapons, saying it violates the Second Amendment and state law. The State Fair has banned weapons for years, but guns rights activists say those policies have been inconsistent.
