The largest “Spotlight on Crime” reward ever in Minnesota — up to 180 thousand dollars — is being offered as police investigate the shootings of three children in Minneapolis in separate incidents in May.  Authorities say the three children were unintended targets of gun violence between rival gangs.  This man says the community won’t be safe ” ’til we tell who’s making it unsafe”:

“Because these same individuals that shot our children have been shooting people long before this — and nobody told that they was doin’ the shootin’.”

There have been no arrests.  Minneapolis Deputy Chief Kathy Waite says there are leads and evidence, but investigators need more:

“We need more from community to come forward, to be willing to share more information, so we can help these families out, so we can help out the victims of these crimes and the community that we serve.”
