(Red Lake, MN) — The Red Lake Police Department has identified the officer who was killed Tuesday morning. Ryan Bialke, a six-year police veteran, was shot to death by a suspect after reporting to a call of a possibly suicidal male. That suspect fired upon officers as they arrived, fled into nearby woods, and was later arrested. Bialke is survived by his wife and four children.
