CDC data shows that 14 Minnesota counties are considered as having “substantial or high” transmission of COVID-19.  This comes after the agency recommended everyone in those areas resume wearing face masks indoors.  Roseau, Traverse, Pope, Swift, Cottonwood, Waseca, Dodge, Scott, Isanti, and Mille Lacs counties are under the substantial category.  And, Redwood, Wilkin, Lake of the Woods, and Lake counties have been placed as high transmission.  Officials hope the new guidance and data can help limit the spread of the emerging Delta variant.
