(Ramsey County, MN) — The Ramsey County Board of Commissioners is expected to vote this morning on security changes for the Minnesota State Fair. The Joint Powers Agreement hands security duties over to the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office, who will have up to 200 officers work either eight-hour or ten-hour shifts. Those officers would be paid at least 80-dollars-per-hour. It took about two months for the security coverage plan to be finalized.
