(St, Paul, MN)  —  An increase in Minnesota COVID-19 cases is sparking an uptick in hospitalizations.  Health officials say daily case numbers over the past six days have topped 100, with hospitalizations climbing.  Public health officials say 75-percent of the new cases are the result of the delta variant.  Officials say they are concerned about a possible surge because only 53-percent of the state’s residents are fully vaccinated.
