(Duluth, MN) — A Duluth man is facing charges after dismembered remains were found in Lake Superior. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension announced yesterday that it is investigating the death of 34-year-old Richard Balsimo as a homicide. Robert West was charged Friday with one count of aiding an offender and one count of interference with a dead body in connection with Balsimo’s death. The BCA says additional charges are anticipated.
