A Minnesota senator is calling on Congress to get a package of basic federal voting rights to President Biden’s desk.  On CNN’s State of the Union, Democrat Amy Klobuchar says there’s been a “concerted effort” to pass state laws that limit people from voting.  She said her party is pushing to get legislation passed in spite of Republicans blocking their first effort to get the “For The People” voting rights bill through the Senate.  Klobuchar added that there are multiple options for getting pieces of their voting rights agenda through, including tacking it on to current infrastructure proposals.
