A new report shows rates of anxiety and depression symptoms skyrocketed throughout 2020. Collin Planalp is a senior research fellow at the U of M:
“In the Spring of 2020, more than one-third of U.S. adults reported anxiety or depression symptoms. And by comparison that’s roughly three times the rate from a similar survey before the pandemic in 2019.”
Almost every age group was affected but young adults were hit worst.
