The Minnesota State Fair is highlighting opportunities for students interested in the farming industry to earn money to pay for their education. Fair spokeswoman Danielle Dullinger says over the years they have awarded more than 500-thousand dollars through the fair’s scholarship programs.

“We are awarding 20 scholarships of 1000 dollars each, we are encouraging rural youth, as well as those who are enrolled in an agriculture program in 2021/2022, that school year.”

Applications are due for the State Fair and Christiansen scholarship by August 2nd.
