(Olivia, MN) — The police officer involved in a fatal shooting in Olivia has been identified. Authorities say Aaron Clouse shot and killed 32-year-old Ricardo Torres Junior Sunday morning in an alley behind East Lincoln Avenue. Clouse, who is an 11-year veteran with the department, has been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation. Officials say there is no bodycam footage or any “known video of the incident.” The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is investigating the shooting.
