Police accountability advocates are taking to the State Capitol again to criticize lawmakers’ inability to enact reform. Nekima Levy-Armstrong with the Racial Justice Network says there’s plenty of blame to go around. But she specifically called out Democrats…

“Because we heard excuse after excuse after excuse about why they could not get things done, even though they control two-thirds of the legislature and our office of the governor.”

Levy-Armstrong also called out Governor Tim Walz for not doing enough and showing strong leadership when she says the black community is in crisis.
