The man accused of hitting and killing a protester during a rally in Uptown Minneapolis is charged with murder. Nicholas Kraus is accused of driving drunk and hitting Deona [[ dee-AH-nuh ]] Knajdek [[ kuh-NY-deck ]] with his SUV Sunday. Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman charged Kraus with second-degree murder Wednesday. He’s being held on one-million dollars bond.
