(New York, NY) — The young woman who filmed the murder of George Floyd is being recognized the by Pulitzer Prize Board. On Friday, Darnella Frazier was honored with a special citation for recording a video of a former Minneapolis police officer kneeling on Floyd’s neck. Frazier was just 17 at the time. The Pulitzer board also recognized the staff of The Star Tribune in Minneapolis for their coverage of Floyd’s murder.
