It was a deadly weekend for some who took to Minnesota lakes and rivers.  On Friday, 34-year-old Nathen Waldo died after being run over by a pontoon boat in Aitkin County, resulting in the boater being charged for boating while intoxicated.  On Saturday afternoon, 46-year-old Chandra Laghuvaram died while swimming in the St. Croix River near William O’Brien State Park.  Then on Sunday, a nine-year-old died after being pulled from Carver Lake.  Also, 18-year-old Zakariya Odowa drowned at Quarry Park after jumping off a floating dock.  Authorities continue to warn people to be cautious while out on bodies of water.
