Several community groups in the Twin Cities area want the head of the U.S. Marshals service in Minnesota to step down.  On Tuesday, leaders from local chapters of CAIR, Black Lives Matter and the Racial Justice Network, among others, argued that Ramona Dohman must resign.  This follows the fatal shooting of Winston Smith, which involved two county deputies assigned to the Marshals’ North Star Fugitive Task Force.  Critics have slammed the actions as reckless and lacking transparency, as those deputies were blocked from using body cameras by the federal agency.  The groups are also asking for local officials to share details and updates on the shooting investigation.
