New reports say former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin is seeking probation.  Chauvin was convicted of several charges including second-degree unintentional murder last month in the death of George Floyd.  Court documents show Chauvin’s attorney is asking for him to be sentenced to probation and prison time equal to time served.  Prosecutors are pushing for Chauvin to spend 30 years in prison.  He’ll be sentenced later this month.
