As of May 28th, nearly all statewide COVID-19 restrictions on businesses have been lifted. This is in accordance with Governor Tim Walz’ announced plan after restrictions were first introduced in the state over a year ago. Despite the apparent end of capacity limits and mask mandates, the cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul are still requiring businesses to enforce indoor mask wearing. The only state guidance still in place is that all businesses must develop and maintain a coronavirus safety plan.
