Minnesota lawmakers have about 13 budget bills they did not finish in the regular session that adjourned Monday, which Republicans and Democrats must now agree on and hammer out details before an expected special session in mid-June.  House Speaker Melissa Hortman:

“Except in those cases where there’s travel that’s booked or people who need just, you know, some sleep and real break, I think that they should keep at it.”

Leaders have given negotiators on individual budget bills until May 28th to have spreadsheets worked out — and want actual bill language by June 4th.
