The Minnesota Senate adjourned the 2021 regular session about 4:30 YESTERDAY afternoon (Mon),  a little more than two hours after the House.

It’s the first time in recent memory that it’s happened well before the midnight deadline, but that’s because lawmakers will be back for a special session in mid-June to finish up the state budget because they weren’t able to do it in the regular session.  Governor Walz and legislative leaders announced the framework of a budget agreement YESTERDAY morning.
