Minnesota Governor Tim Walz says he will sign an executive order Friday ending the state’s mask mandate. This comes after the CDC announced that fully vaccinated people can go without masks indoors. However, the cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul will keep their local mask mandates in place after seeing higher numbers of COVID-19 throughout the pandemic. As of Thursday, over 61-percent of Minnesotans had received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
