Minnesota is one of the states with the lowest level of drug abuse. This comes from a study by WalletHub, which ranks the state number-49 among 50 states and Washington, D.C. The site used drug use and addiction, law enforcement, and drug health issues and rehab as the categories to rank states. D.C., West Virginia and Missouri had the highest levels of drug abuse found. Unfortunately, drug overdose deaths in Minnesota still rose significantly from 2019 to 2020.
