A 16-year-old boy faces charges in connection to the death of a two-year-old in Mankato. Police say the younger boy was found unresponsive at a home on the 300-block of Eastport Drive earlier this month before being pronounced dead. Medical reports say the child was severely bruised and sexually assaulted. The teen was then arrested following inconsistent stories given to police. He has been charged with a count of second-degree murder.
