The governor’s office says Minnesotans can now make appointments at the state’s mass vaccination sites directly. Prior to that announcement earlier this week, residents had to wait to be notified about openings via the Vaccine Connector. Now, open appointments can be scheduled directly through the site. There are nine large-scale vaccination sites in Minnesota, as well as a federal location at the State Fairgrounds. Governor Tim Walz says the pandemic will likely end quicker if more people get vaccinated against the coronavirus.
