A new study says Minnesota is doing okay when in terms of homelessness in the state. Security.org released data on the State of Homelessness in 2021 this week, which saw the Gopher State roll into the 16th spot on the list. According to reports, Minnesota’s homeless rate is at 140 per 100-thousand residents. The top three include the D.C. area, New York, and Hawaii with high homelessness rates. Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi have the lowest rates of homelessness.
