Frontline workers for a major healthcare system in Minnesota are threatening to strike. Officials say the majority of Allina Health’s unionized workers voted last week to strike if they could not reach a deal with management over the latest contract. Employees say Allina is refusing to increase pay and also refuses to address issues regarding workplace safety and staffing. Both parties are expected to resume contract negotiations on Friday.
