Minnesota’s fishing openers for bass, walleye, northern pike and trout in lakes are set for next month. The Department of Natural Resources announced Monday that residents are free to hit the lakes beginning May 15th. Officials are advising boaters to wear life jackets, distribute weight evenly in the boat, and watch the weather.
