(Minneapolis, MN) — State health officials report Minnesota recorded more than two thousand cases of COVID-19 for the first time since January. On Saturday, Minnesota confirmed two-thousand-75 new cases as the rolling average of daily new cases reached 58-percent — a trend health officials say needs to be reversing. Also this weekend, the state-administered more than 85-thousand doses of the coronavirus vaccine — a record single-day total for Minnesota. Almost 20-percent of the state’s population has now been fully vaccinated.
