Canadian Pacific Railway is likely moving its U.S. headquarters out of Minneapolis. On Sunday, Canadian Pacific announced it’s acquiring Kansas City Southern to create a freight rail network that will connect the U.S. with Canada and Mexico. Canadian Pacific says it will move its U.S. headquarters from Minneapolis to Kansas City. The Star Tribune reports the deal still needs to be certified by the federal Surface Transportation Board, which is expected to happen in 2022.
