Local organizers are calling it an “emergency action” as hundreds show up for the “Asian Solidarity March” in Minneapolis Thursday. Different community groups organized the event in response to the deadly shootings at several Atlanta massage parlors. Speakers at Thursday’s local event noted specific aggressive acts of racism targeting the Asian community in recent history. The Coalition of Asian American Leaders, who helped organize the local event, provided resources on how community members can support their Asian neighbors.
