The jury selection process in the Derrick Chauvin trial screeched to a grinding halt Tuesday as no new jurors were selected.   Attorneys in the case interviewed seven potential jurors yesterday, five of whom were dismissed by Judge Peter Cahill.   Already seated jurors are being re-interviewed after the news of the 27-million dollar settlement that was reached between the family of George Floyd and the city of Minneapolis.   Defense attorneys for Chauvin believe that news has tainted the jury pool and are calling for the trial to be moved.
