Governor Tim Walz is significantly “turning back the dials” on COVID restrictions beginning Monday at noon for bars, restaurants, fitness centers, entertainment venues and other businesses, and said:

“If we do this right, Minnesota — and we will — keep getting vaccinated, keep wearing the mask, social-distance the way we need to, and keep testing — we’ll be back here sooner rather than later and turn (back the dials) even more.”

Senate Republican Majority Leader Paul Gazelka says:

“Positive news except for the fact that it’s only his hand that’s on that dial, and we’ve been talking for a while now about the fact that emergency powers should end.”
