(St. Paul, MN)   — One-point-eight-million more Minnesotans will have COVID-19 vaccine eligibility starting today. Governor Tim Walz said Tuesday that the state vaccination plan was now expanding to include Phase 1b Tier 2 and 3. Those tiers include people with specific high risk conditions, food processing plant workers and other frontline workers. People in Tier 3 consists of some younger people who were asked to sign up and wait for information from healthcare providers or employers. Walz emphasized that unvaccinated people 65 and older are still the “top priority.”
