A bill establishing a Prescription Drug Affordability Board meant to keep drug prices down is making its way through the state legislature.

“Across the state, we know that out of control drug costs are a huge issue to Minnesotans and their ability to both survive and thrive, one in five Minnesotans had to forgo prescription medicine in the past year due to costs.”

Representative Kelly Morrison from Deephaven says as a doctor, she regularly sees the cost of drugs interfere with her ability to successfully treat patients who cannot afford their medicine.
